Vehicle Details
Up for sale or trade is one beautiful piece of history being a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner J code Hemi car. The last one ever built in 1969 out of the Lynch plant. This car has a lot of history and a true survivor. It has 63,080 miles on it from new. Has been stored for years tucked away. The car is all numbers matching except for the trans. It was an auto that was blown in the early 70’s and he cracked the case so it could not be rebuilt. Car was swapped to a 4 speed by the original owner. It does have a correct 69’ Roadrunner Hemi 4 speed in it from another J code car that is no longer around and didn’t survive. So everything is all period correct. We have verified a lot of original parts on the car being the carbs, alternator, radiator, wiper motor, brake booster, etc…. So many things are still original on this car. Even the door panels have the original 69’ tags on them. The vin number is present on the original engine block, Also on the radiator support, and the inner trunk lip. The rear end is the original Dana with the factory 4.10 gear ratio. The original paint inspection stamp is on the inner fender and the original markings for the tire size is on the bottom of the trunk Lid, they are all clear and present. We never found a build sheet. Original fender tag is present.(Breakdown of fender tag is listed below)
Car was ordered with the N96 air induction, Power disk brakes, no power steering. This car is super solid. No rot and has all of its original body panels. It is also the original paint. I am sure it was touched up in some spots over the years, but I don’t see any noticeable signs. Nothing was ever touched on this car. It still has the original spare tire in trunk along with the original bumper jack. All the steel wheels are the original coded wheels. The underside is just like it was when it left the factory. The normal maintenance was done over the years. Recently it has new brakes all around, new leaf springs in the rear, newer exhaust, newer tires. The car runs and drives great. Car is truly a beast on the road, No wonder they were all drag raced back in the day and not many survived. LOL. Car is truly amazing and big piece of history. Was bought new here in NY and never left. Always stored with care so it preserved the car well. If you want to know more please contact me and I will give you the history the best I can.
