1971 Plymouth Valiant 3.7 Coupe Brown scamp
1971 Plymouth Valiant 3.7 scamp
I have a 1971 Plymouth valiant scamp I am the 3rd owner and have do have all the previous registration receipts and maintenance papers to validate that the mileage is actual I purchased it from the grand duaghter of the second owner who told me her grand father had bought it in the early 70s and drove it around locally until 2004 when his health got bad and that it was sitting right where he parked it when I bought it. She said he had gotten in to a guard rail with it one winter the lead to the damages you see on the passenger side.
Vehicle Details
I have hooked a battery up and hit the key with the fuel line unhooked to verify spark and make sure the motor is free and will turn over but I haven’t had time to actually start it
I can tell you the brakes hold but i personally would replace the old line as well as the fuel lines, the floors are solid as is the trunk
The fuel tank is SHOT and has visible holes
Iv found a few around $120 new with new sending units
There are some small holes by the factory roof welds from an old vynal top
I purchased this car to fix up for my father but he ended up passing in October and I just don’t have the time or want to do it anymore.
It will make someone a very nice old mopar with very minimal work or could be tuned up and drive as a mostly original low miles car
Either way there’s not to many left sitting with documented miles in this decent of shape.
I do have the clean title in my name in hand
