Up for sale is this Beautiful Barracuda Fastback in Good running and driving condition!
Original rebuilt 273 engine starts right up and runs smooth with plenty of oil pressure and great cylinder compression. No oils leaks, no smoking, no hesitation and very dependable!
Clutch engagement is great and A833 transmission shifts through all gears very smoothly. Manual steering is tight with very little slop, and rebuilt drum manual brakes work great as well, with little effort to stop the car.
Aluminum wheels are American Racing Boss TT 18x8 front and 20x8.5 rear, tires are 225/40r18 front and 255/35r20 rear.
Interior is in Good shape overall with fairly new carpet, new headliner, door panels are descent shape, and frontbucket seat has only small tears.
Body is in Fair shape with only a dent on the front valance and paint isn't perfect but it still looks good enough for cruise nights.
All lights work inside and out, and even the horn! Most of the weather stripping/seals are intact, and trunk/doors close very tight and solid.
This would be a great opportunity for restoring or modifying to hearts content while still being able to drive it around town, or just regular maintenance and enjoy it as is!
Only rust is in the usual spots, but not too bad and very manageable. Some spots on floor pans, both rear inner quarter panels, some spots in the trunk wheel well, spot under LH/RH doors, and small holes under rear glass. Gauges don't work and gauge cluster could use some tlc. Shocks are worn out. Paint is Good on the sides, but the top and hood have been poorly repainted. Could use some wet sanding and cut and buff.
