1969 Plymouth Road runner RM23 hardtop $29000 OBO
Started life as an F5 Green 383 4 speed bucket seat Drum Brake No PS No PB car
Now has a fresh 1968 440 with 906 heads Blow proof bell housing with an A833 3.23 Sure Grip Ladder bars Headers Flowmasters (sounds and runs Great) Competition Thermo-quad and Disc Brakes
This was somebody's street racer out of Hollister Years ago- now it has a street friendly 3.23 rear
I have had the pan off, Crank is balanced Rods have been resized Forged pistons looks to be very low miles
All body work was professionally done and I have the photos of it being accomplished. All original panels as far as I can tell except hood and right front fender Frame is straight with no repairs and car is rust free
Interior is an amateur job but not bad for a first attempt
Car was rewired with an aftermarket kit but uses factory switches- All OE connectors and harness come with car
Comes with New grille in trunk correct rear bumper and reverse lights also head rests for seats and original front drumsAll stampings match and are correct Core support, vin, Trunk rail, fender tag
The good
Runs strong absolutely fun to drive
Tranny shifts well clutch works well
Major Body work professionally done
Clear title in my name registered and ready to drive
New interior
starts shifts runs drives and stops as it should
Suspension was all rebuilt at some point in its life
Recent motor
All lights horn signals work except reverse lights not hooked up
Legendary cool car Trim and wipers and new grille are in trunk
Needs finish body work and paint
All Glass is good doors hood trunk open and close nice
The needs work
Headliner needs tightening up
Drivers seat soft comes with new cushion
Window tracks need lubed
Wiper motor works on all speeds but only hooked up for one speed at present
Spark plug wires are too long for application and need to be right angle at the plug but they are new and work well
Cheap electronic dist to get running but works well
OE Alt Temp and Fuel Gauge need to be hooked up
Blower motor works but heater hoses not hooked upE brake works but release is wonky
