The GTX represented Chrysler's blend of style and performance in the 1960's. The trim level on these cars are high. Well-appointed interiors and stylish exterior trim was complimented by a base motor consisting of 440 CID and rated at 375 HP. The only other engine option was the 426 Hemi. For 1968 after only one year in production the GTX received a new look. The body was redesigned to a more hourglass look giving the car an overall more aggressive look and stance.
