1981 Peugeot 505 SD

Peugeot 505 Diesel project. Blue 1981 SD Diesel 5-speed, a few surface rust patches on the body but no serious structural rust. It is not running due to brake system issues. The engine was running when last started, but that would be several years ago.

Included is the more powerful 2.5 liter engine, and many parts from a 1985 that I drove until the rust was too serious to repair. The plan was to combine the best parts, and I can tell you that the larger engine was a significant improvement over the earlier 2.3 and 2.4 liter engines. Extra parts include an extra set of wheels with good Michelin tires, extra front end suspension, and leather seats and interior from the 1985. The leather seats will need some repair.
