1984 Peugeot 505 STI

1984 Peugeot 505 Turbo Diesel 160k, runs and drives, Car has been sitting since 2004, body is very nice with no visibledents, paint poor, no cancer that I have noticed but several surface rust spots where the paint failed as shown in pictures.Rare car, these are rapidly disappearing from out landscape with foreign buyers snatching them up and shipping them abroad. I have a clean clear title.I recently installed a Deep Cycle Battery, did an oil and filter, new fuel filter. The leather interior is in surprisinglynice shape, with a split on the bottom of the back seat that appears to be a split seam. Headliner is nice except missing on sunroof. Carpet is fair, stained in places but with a good shampoo will look good, some wear through at drivers feet. 3 of the 4 windows work, the drivers side rear being non-op. Heater and fan work, all lights are working as well. Speedo is frozen from sitting and needs to be futzed with, and the tachometer is non-op (common), just needs to be played with. Fuel and temp gauge work fine as well as all dash lights, brake, glow plug, oil all operate properly. Dash lights work as do blinkers. A couple of the belt line trim pieces are coming undone, as noted on the drivers door and passenger rear, I will fix those when the rain lets up.......
The car Runs, Ride and drives very nicely, extremely comfortable car as Peugeots are know for there ride. The brakes need to be serviced. The brakes front grab some and they get warm and stick. Tire hold air but are old and need to be replaced. Passenger rear door does not latch but I will fix this as soon as I can. All the door handles are a little sticky from sitting, they need some lubrication.

Parts are still easy to get for these, nearly all consumables can be bought on RockAuto or here on eBay, and I have a secret stash of parts of you get stuck, as well as years of experience with the lovely cars. I currently drive a 505TD Wagon regularly.
I would not recommend trying to drive it home without first doing the brakes and a set of tires, it needs tire (from sitting) and the brakes should be freshened before being a daily.
