Up for sale is this extremely rare 1958 Packard Hawk factory supercharged V8 hardtop coupe. Packard only produced 577 supercharged Hawk models and as you can imagine, they are near impossible to find. Built as an early muscle car with a 289 cubic inch supercharged motor, 275 horsepower v8. Packard Motor Company built its first car in 1899. 1958 was the final year for the once famous brand and the only year for the rare and special Hawk supercharged hardtop coupe.The all original car was carefully disassembled for restoration. All parts that were removed from the car are included. The engine and transmission have been completely rebuilt by the legendary Bill Powell with an open check book. OEM Factory supercharger is included. Please see the pictures for a more in depth description. This is a rare opportunity for someone to obtain a solid factory supercharged, extremely low production '58 factory supercharged V8 Packard Hawk that once restored will be worth a bundle.
Extremely straight and solid car! There is some rust in passenger side rocker panel. The door jambs, frame, core support and all other structural components are clean straight and dry. All glass is intact.
The transport truck will need a winch but the car does roll and the steering wheel functions. A ton of money has been spent on this project to date.
