THIS PACKARD WAS BOUGHT ON SEPT. 5,1940 IN LOCK HAVEN,PENN. AT DON WELCH MOTOR CO. BY JOHN RICH.IN 1830 HE STARTED WOOLRICH LINEN AND CLOTHING CO OF WOOLRICH,PENN.I WAS TOLD THE CAR WAS ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR ONE RESPRAY.IT HAS. ORIGINAL PANELS AND THE FIT AND FINISH LOOKS BETTER THAN WHEN IT ROLLED OUT OF THE SHOWROOM,THE PAINT HAS A BEAUTIFUL HIGH GLOSS,THE GLASS IS ORIGINAL WITH NEW RUBBER SEALS THAT LOOK NEW NO CRACKS,NO FOGGING OR DISCOLORATION.THE BRITE WORK ALL CHROME AND BUMPERS LOOK GREAT.THE INTERIOR IS SUPPOSEDLY ORIGINAL AND IT LOOK NEW NO STAINS OR TEARS.THE HEADLINER LOOK THE SAME WAY.THE ENGINE LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD.THE LOOK LIKE IT HAS HAD A FRAME OFF RESTORATION.THE ENGINE BAY LOOK GREAT.EVERTHING WORK AS IT SHOULD EVEN THE RADIO AND HEATER,THE ONLY THING I HAVE FOUND THAT DOESNT WORK IS THE CLOCK AND HORN EVEN THE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT WORKS.IT DRIVE AND PERFORMS AS IT SHOULD.ORIGINAL 6 VOLT SYSTEM THAT STARTS AND LIKE IT SHOULD.ORIGINAL STYLE HUBCAPS AND ORIGINAL STYLE TIRES THAT ARE LIKE NEW.THIS CAR WILL SHOW AND WIN TROPHIES THE WAY IT SITS.THIS CAR LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT ALL ITS LIFE AND REMEMBER BELIEVED TO BE ONLY 26K MILES AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT.I DONT THINK THERE ARE ANY LEAKS OR ISSUES.THESE PRE-WAR CARS LIKE THIS IS JUST ABOUT IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY.
