Dream Car Autohaus is offering for sale our clients fully restored and customized 1940 Packard 110 Special sedan. This 110 has been in the family since new. The restoration work was done to enhance the cars driving ability for better cruising and comfort. The entire car was stripped inside and out to bare metal. Any areas that were in need of repair were done, the original engine was removed as was the suspension. The owner replaced the original engine with a 305 CU-IN throttle body injected V8 from a 1988 Camaro, the transmission was also replaced with a 700 R transmission. Both engine and transmission were completely rebuilt. The suspension is from a Monte Carlo and consists of front suspension and brakes, rear end assembly and brakes and feul tank and pump, a new brake booster and master cylinder were added as well. The interior ha all new VDO gauges, GM steering column, Vintag AC, Howell Wiring kit,, Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette and CD changer and power front seats. This 110 special with its suicide doors runs and drives great without any issues. Everything works as it should and this car would make a great addition to anyone's collection. The car is at my clients location in Maryland and can be seen Monday to Friday by appointment only.
