1987 Ford E-Series Van

Mileage is 167,000 not 67,000. Ibought this van to convert. I wanted to start with a spacious, reliable van capable of towing virtually anything. Plan was to travel the country with the boat during my retirement starting next year. Plans / health have changed due to a serious accident in another vehicle.The good: hee previous owner disconnected the glow plugs but after 20 minutes with the block heater plugged in the engine catches immediately and starts all day in Oregon winter with no glow plugs / heater. New matching rear tires (95% tread) $500. fronts have maybe 40%. Body is very straight with a few dings here and there. I used it all last year for work. Engine runs strong.New alternator.The bad:C6 trans won't upshift from 2nd to 3rd and shifts late from 1st to 2nd. I used it like that to get to jobs until the accident in November (see last photo) and have spent the last months in physical therapy. I no longer have the time or the agility to do anything with the van. According to the forums the trans. issue could be a vacuum problem, the vacuum modulator, band adjustment or something else. When I was using it I didn't have time to put it in a shop. Figure out the trans.issue, do some wiring and it's a great van to conver,
