1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 LT1 5.7L / 6 SPEED T56
Basket case special. Got this car in a lot of cars I bought this past summer. Bought with a known blown up LT1 5.7L. Had plans to LS swap it but I need to move some iron...need the space.
This is a what you see is what you get kind of deal. Bought this car in a packagedeal with 4 other cars. Previous owner said the motor blew up a few years ago and had been sitting ever since. I got the car back and drained the oil and there was about 3 gallons of water that came out the oil pan before oil came out. My best guess is that the motor blew a head gasket and hydrolocked on the previous owner. I bore-scoped the cylinder holes and 6 out of 8 looked good. The #6 slug was the only one that didn'tmove so that rod is 100% broken off at the rod end. The others moved up and down as they should, but I cannot attest to whether or not those rods are NOT bent. Motor looks like it had been refreshed at some point as it's pretty clean looking and minus the rust and sludge of an over the hill sludgey'boy.
Overall, the car is straight and the body panels don't have any major defects or dents. Car looks to have been painted fairly recently, but is a lower quality 2 stage job. some swirls and fisheyes here and there but for a low budget job...very very presentable. The interior is not bad and presentable but some of the interior plastics have some busted up tabs.
Had plans to LS swap this car down the line but and as such....the car comes with a 1998 Pontiac Tran-Am K-member which will accept an LS based engine. Fix the LT1 or swap it over to an LSx engine. You will have everything you need for the LSx swap minus the engine, computer, harness, and LS T56 to complete the swap. The K-member is disassembled for new bushings and ball joints, so you are getting free labor in the deal if you decide to go LS.
I'm asking $2,000 [what I approximate I got into the car based of the lot sale i got it in] but am a motivated seller and will entertain reasonable REAL offers. Long story less long...this bald eagle gotta go. Got something else coming in worth more and I need the space it sits in. Great candidate to build up as a grudge car or cruiser.
I have describe all I know about the car. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me and I will run down your question as best as I can. Check my feedback...I don't sell junk ; )Terms & Conditions
This is about as accurate an assessmentI can give on the car during my ownership.Title is a clean Virginia title IN MY NAME. I do deals all the time and HATE sketchy title paperwork. No issues here. For you out of state fellas, check with your DMV to make sure you get exactly what you need to title and register in your state. VA only requires a signed title and bill of sale.
This is an RESPONSIBLE ADULT auction. If you need permission from your lady friend, cousin Jerry, or your Pastor...get it BEFORE YOU BID!!!! Please, PLEASE, PLEASE...NO DEADBEATS BIDDERS!!!!
