1969 Buick Riviera

This 1969 Buick Riviera was owned by one gentleman in Kansas City since new. The car remained in the KC area all of it's life, until shipped to Los Angeles in October, 2023.
The exceptionally nice gold color body has no rust holes anywhere. The doors open and close as in a new car. The trunk lid and hood open and close perfectly. The headlights operate, they move up and down when operated by the headlight switch. The interior lights work, the radio works. The power windows work. We just repaired the air conditioning, it has a new compressor, new POA valve & expansion valve. The system was professionally converted to 134a refrigerant so it is less expensive to service in the future. The AC is ice cold now. The power steering pump had a small leak so a new (not rebuilt) pump was installed. The brakes were pulling slightly to one side, thus all the brakes were rebuild - new shoes, cylinders, hardware & hoses. The trunk carpet was getting a little frayed in the corners so a new correct type carpet was installed.
The car comes with GM shop manual, assembly manual and owner's manual.
The engine runs very smoothly with no smoke. The transmission shifts like new.
The 8 - track player is original to this car but it seems to have a bad drive belt inside.There are some rock chips on the paint below the lower body molding. The car is an unrestored original car so it has some signs of use, naturally.
This is a wonderful original unrestored 'survivor' car, one I consider more desirable than an amateur restored car. After all, these cars are original only once.
