For sale 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 2D Hardtop drag race car. VIN-4K43F209195 original color blue. Needs work. Body is solid with minor dents. Paint is faded and peeling in places. No significant rust. Floors and trunk are solid. Glass is good.Engine runs but needs carburetor work. Won't idle and stalls in-gear.
351 Cleveland engine with 4 barrel heads. Built to Boss 351 specs with adjustable valve-train, roller rockers and pushrod guide plates, race camshaft, forged pistons, Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, Holley 750 carb and headers with collector extensions. MSD ignition.
FMX automatic transmission with high-stall torque converter, racing valve body and B&M vertical gate shifter
Ford 9” posi-trac rear axle with 4.56 gears
Ladder bars and relocated drag shocks. Stock drum brakes with Line-Lock.
Sub-frame connectors, shock towers notched for big-block and reinforced. Tubbed for slicks.
Battery mounted in trunk. Rear electrical cut-off switch.
Electric fuel pump and fuel cell.
Drag radial tires on alloy wheels. Comes with set of old slicks and front tires on Weld wheels.
The previous owner removed parts to reduce weight including heater delete, windshield wipers, alternator, trunk hinges and front bumper. Trunk lid held on with hood pins. Comes with fiberglass front bumper.
