1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Convertible 4 speed

Price: - Item location: Inman, South Carolina, United States
Description:

1966 Chevrolet Corvair

I have owned the car since October 2015. It has been garage kept the entire time. It has been a great car and due to its 2023 complete engine rebuild it runs like a clock. A cam and machine work (.040 over) to the engine makes it strong and fast, and it sounds like a cammed engine should. The interior is in very good condition with no tears or cracks, and little wear. The instrument cluster and dash look great. Everything works as it should except the clock and washer pump, and the speedometer has a slight bounce to it but is accurate. The body has no rust and the chrome is in excellent condition. The paint is slightly faded but shines from a ceramic buff job (not just a wax job)and looks fantastic from 10’. The Fawn interior and Willow Green exterior is a very rare combination. The car is a perfect daily driver and if desired only a paint job away from a show winner. The odometer reads 48,000 but is not accurate. It was rebuilt by the previous owner. I have put ~6000 miles on it.
