1969 Mercury Cougar

For your consideration...1969 Cougar (XR7?) Convertible. Local car equipped with a factory 351 Windsor with a 2 barrel carb. Automatic transmission, Power steering, power brakes, and factory Air Conditioning (pump not froze, but belt is off) and power convertible top (it needs a new top). Car has lived in Nebraska it's whole life that I'm aware of, and has been off the road since the late 80's early 90's. We have gone through and changed, replaced or repaired most soft componants as necessary. Wheel seals, tank drained, new sender, new tires (not pictured) etc. to make it a usable driver. The car has had a few patches on the floors all prior and done correctly. Front torque boxes are original and solid. Car exterior is straight and solid with a few bumps, chips and a small sign of rust on the bottom of the passenger door (see pics). interior is complete and usable with wear mainly on the drivers seat bolster. I would peg the outside as a 5 + and the inside a 6. Please make your own judgement from the pics and ask for more if needed. Car runs and drives down the road, stops as it should but carb will need rebuilt sooner than later.
