Up for sale here we have a prewar Duesenberg Phaeton tribute/recreationbuilt by Professional Prototypes in Florida in 1983.This 1930 Replica Duesenberg features a beautiful two tone exterior paint and pin striping throughout. This is the iconictwo tone pattern that the Duesenberg was well known for. The 15" real wire wheels are in excellent like new condition and fitted with brand new wide whitewall tires. The interior is in good and clean condition and there is plenty of room to fit four people. The vehicle is powered by a Volkswagen engine and mated by a 4-speed manual transmission, both in good working order. This car was built on a stretched Super Beetle chassis and it's pretty big and long for a VW based replica, just a little over 16 feet long. Very clean engine compartment that is cleverly disguised into a rear trunk compartment, similar to one that you would see on a real Duesenberg. Beautiful vintage features all around the vehicle like prewar style grill, solid flying lady hood ornament, dual horn trumpets, amber blinker lights, antique style headlights, chrome side mirrors, ornamental supercharged pipes on both sides, antique sounding ooga horn - very cool classic car show feature, metal framing on windows,wooden dash with chrome gauges and glove compartment,and many other nice details to be mentioned. As you can see in some pictures, all the windows are functional and roll down smoothly. Car comes with a convertible top as well as a boot that nicely wraps around the top when it is down. The two tone body paint is still nice and shiny but not new or perfect, normal wear that you'll find on any car built a long time ago, still very beautiful and gives the car an antique look.Only 4,478 miles since the car was built - speedometer in working condition, looks like the car was babied and driven only on nice weekends.
