This 1970 Dodge Charger 500 was acquired by the seller in 2013 and subsequently refurbished including a repaint in gray as well as a refreshed interior. Power is provided by a replacement 440ci V8 linked with a TREMEC five-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear end with a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes 15″ American Racing wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, Hotchkis shocks, adjustable upper control arms and leaf spring mounts, Classic Auto Air climate control, a Bluetooth-capable Sony stereo, a Ron Francis Wiring harness, a Comp Cams roller camshaft, Edelbrock cylinder heads, TTi Performance headers,an American Powertrain shifter, and a Quicktime bellhousing. The front end has been converted to resemble a 1969 Charger R/T, and the rear tail lamps feature LED bulbs. Noted flaws include a paint chip on the hood. American Racing Vector 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with Cooper Radial G/T tires. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood disc brakes, and the suspension has been modified with Hotchkis shocks, custom shock towers, and adjustable upper control arms and leaf spring mounts. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear a bench that have been reupholstered in black vinyl along with a custom dash and center console. Metal surfaces were reportedly sprayed with LizardSkin insulation prior to installation of replacement interior components, and equipment includes a Classic Auto Air climate control system, a Bluetooth-capable Sony stereo, an American Powertrain shifter, and an MSD ignition box mounted under the dash panel. The aftermarket steering wheel fronts AutoMeter instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 6k miles. The replacement 440ci V8 is equipped with a Ron Francis Wiring harness, a Comp Cams roller camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, and MSD ignition components. The exhaust system features a stainless-steel exhaust system features TTi Performance headers as well as electrically controlled cutouts. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TREMEC TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission with a Quicktime bellhousing and a Dana 60 rear end with a limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gearing.
