Description:

1969 Dodge Charger

This H code (383 4 barrel) 1969 Charger needs a lot but it has really solid frame rails, rockers, and torsion bar crossmember. You can buy more complete cars, but often times, they still need all the same sheetmetal and they have a couple rusty structural parts (rails, rockers, or roof structure).I bought this Charger out of a field in west Texas. The previous owner drove to California to buy it over 12 years ago (it still has a California plate) but he never got around to restoring it...before that, it's history is lost. The original engine, transmission, and rearend have been missing for many years. I didn't get a title with it so I went through the process of getting a clean/clear Kansas title in my name. The title is a Non-Highway title due to not having insurance on it. The fender option tag is in place and the stamped partial VIN on the radiator support matches the VIN and fender tag. It doesn't come with a drivetrain....so it would be a perfect candidate for a restomod....build like you want it!The front/rear frame rails, torsion bar crossmember, roof structure, and rockers are all very solid....take a look at the pictures. The roof skin has some hail dents but is useable; a good paintless dent repair (PDR) or sheetmetal guy could smooth out the roof skin. The left door is scraped up but solid so its worth saving. The right door is solid. All the glass is in the car. The car will need at least a partial right quarter, possibly a whole left quarter, tail panel, filler panel, rear valance, front fenders, hood, front valance, etc. The trunk lid is present but is pretty beat up. I didn't get any interior with the car. When I got the car, it didn't even come with a rearend, leaf springs, or rear wheels. I installed an e body rear housing (it was all I had at the moment), leaf springs, and wheels to make it winchable/rollable.As far as extra parts, I din't get much of anything with it so What you see is what you get.
I accept cash on pickup or bank to bank wire transfer only. The buyer is responsible to make an pay for shipping arrangements. With enough advance notice, I can usually take off work to meet your transporter if he comes during work hours. The car is in Newton, Ks.
