You are viewing a very rare optioned factory 2-Tone paint code 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, with the highly desired X44 Code. There were only six 2-Tone paint color options available totaling 5,906 for the 1969 model year and less than 2% were the very rare 55 Azure Turquoise with 50 Dover White Top according to GM. Same owner owned since 1981 till I purchased. Car has had body filler in areas and is in need of rust repair; one repaint but the the original color Azure Turquoise can be seen in several areas under the blue on car. Currently there is a non-running 327ci Small block engine and a 4-Speed manual transmission neither numbers matching to the vehicle. The 10 bolt rear end looks to be original, the 14'' rally wheels are original stamped GM. Interior was customized years ago and not original material/pattern. Car Rolls-Car Steers the steering wheel is not bolted down. Car will need restored but is a extremely rare option 69' Camaro and highly collectable.
VIN:123 VIN in 1969 through the C.O.P.O you could order almost any option unlike buying a new vehicle today where there are packages, the original engine size could have been a 6Cyl being a 123 VIN but could have also been a 8Cyl in rare cases. Being such a rare 2-tone option it is anyone's guess.
