1965 Oldsmobile 442 W-29True 442 (barn-find) all original matching-numbers 1965 F-85 Cutlass (sports coupe) with 4-4-2 option and documented 88K miles. True “Southern car”, purchased new July 16, 1965 from GM region 16 (Carolinas). Has the original sales information, build-sheet (manifest tag) and matching factory warranty protecto-plate documentation. Rare (1 of only 2262) automatics made in ‘65 with the 345HP 400CID, 4BBL, Dual exhaust, (has correct 4V body code for 442 trim package), correct “B” casting 389298 block and “V” code big block 400 stamp with the correct “A” casting heads (10.25:1 comp ratio) and optional super-turbine 300 “Jetaway” special duty automatic transmission. Car comes equipped with the following factory options: Power steering, power brakes, custom sport wheel discs (Oldsmobile full size hubcaps), padded dash, chrome window and roof drip rail moldings, driver side outside mirror, OEM tinted windshield, optional back-up lights and trunk light, locking glove box and console, retractable front seat belts, 2-speed windshield wipers (with washer), AM radio, 4-4-2 chrome air cleaner with original cover emblem, and glare-proof rearview mirror.Has the 442 front and rear sway bars, control arms, and heavy duty shocks/springs.
