AZ desert survivor
FAIR RESERVE ...bid on it to win !
These Nissans are RARE AF and have a loyal following, esp if you
grew up in the 80s and 90s and hung out with the Mini-truck crowds.
Showing about 180k on the odometer, and has been off the road now
for about 15 yrs.
The head was pulled off several yrs ago, not sure what they where
starting to fix, but it never got finished. All the major stuff that was removed
from the engine is in a box in the back area or sitting carefully back there
waiting to be fixed and put back together someday. Trans was said to be in fine
shape. So possibly restore it back with the stock drivetrain components or maybe
store this stuff away and put a SR20DET maybe ? Now a days the options are
pretty much unlimited. I havent seen a regular NIssan Pulsar for sale or on
the road in yrs, even here in dry AZ. Ive not seen a SportBak version in person
in over 35 yrs. Lucky for the new owner, this Nissan has been in Tucson pretty
much its whole life, so No Rot, No Rust other then some surface.
I cant imagine that more then a few hundred are still on the road.
THIS is nice rust free Az car and will put a smile on your
face every time you go out to work on it.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This Nissan would be an awesome resto project. Seeing as the Mini-Truck craze
is on a comeback, these fit in the scene very well. Still on it are some period correct
16" American Racing wheels too. The body is in pretty amazing shape, paint is dry and
baked from the AZ sun etc. The lack of Rust or Rot puts it in the Survivor column because
we know that most of these rusted out yrs ago. Even ones still driving around have rust
issues, which we all know is one of the biggest pain in the ass things to fix.
The interior is actually not too bad of shape for being in Az for its whole life. Much of
the plastic is cracked and or dry, but check out the pics, alot of it is still save-able and usable
as is. Another cool thing about this car is, its really never been modded or customized, so
its not a wiring nightmare under the dash etc It was mostly driven in stock configuration and
enjoyed like that for 30+ yrs. Being a 5 spd car keeps it fun and it has factory AC too.
IT does roll, brake and steer fine for moving it around and such for now.
MUCH MORE INFO BELOW
ITS has a Restored/Salvage title - no idea why. Possibly was stolen and recovered back in the
day. But Ive been all around and under this car, and cant find any signs of past accidents or
repairs to the body, chassis etc. Its been repainted once, close to the original Blue color.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title
If you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.
DRIVETRAIN: Under the hood is the shortblock and
transmission. The original 1.5L and manual trans. In the
back is the head, manifold etc. ( see pics) Not exactly sure
why the head was taken off. No signs of any rust, rot or
accident damage anywhere here too. All the AC stuff still
looks to be intact too.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the cars been in AZ pretty
much its whole life and the interior mostly complete. On
any of our desert cars youll find alot of fine dust in places
youve prob never seen dust. Much the interior is actually in
nice shape, but it obviously needs a dash pad and some other
plastic pieces that have dried out or cracked. Very stock and
unmolested in here too. Carpet is dirty in a few spots.
Its a factory AC car too. The Ttops are in good shape and
still come on and off and lock.
EXTERIOR:the body is very straight for its age, dont see too
much sign of any major damage, check out all the pics. I couldnt find any signs of any previous accidents or damage.
Glass is all good, some old tint on the hatchback. We have
one key for the car that seems to work all the locks. Dr side
window is there but stuck down and cant get it up. It has
been covered, although we hardly ever get rain anyways.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks pretty much like the way
it came from the factory and complete. Im sure some of the bushings old and such, but parts are easy to find here if
needed. The A/R aluminum rims are 16" and are very period
correct for the era. They are in decent shape too. No rust of
rot down there either or on the floors.
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side. OR EMAIL ME if you cant see them all.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

Probably The BEST represented WAGONS on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
