This very low miles 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL is in mint condition. It is finished in red over black leather and power comes from a naturally-aspirated 3.0-liter V6 that runs well. The 3.0-liter DOHC 24V V6 was factory-rated at 222 horsepower and 201 lb-ft of torque, and sends power to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that shifts well.
Features also include pop-up headlamps, integrated fog lights, a rear spoiler, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket stereo.
The body is in very nice shape, finished in Monza Red, and features pop-up headlamps, fog lights, ventilated bodywork, a retractable antenna, a rear wiper, quad exhaust outlets, and a black spoiler affixed to the trunk lid. There are few scratches and scuffs, very normal for age. There is no rustFactory 16″ five-spoke wheels with Mitsubishi-logo center caps are in very nice shape, mounted with 225/55 tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and disc brakes all around that are in very good shape.
The cabin features seats upholstered in black leather in very nice shape, with perforated inserts as well as matching door panel inserts and dark gray carpets. Dash is very good. A black and red shift boot has been added along with aftermarket cupholders. Interior amenities include power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, floor mats, a privacy cover for the cargo area, and an aftermarket stereo.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and a fuel level gauge. The six-digit odometer shows just over 26k miles, and the carfax in clean and consistent with such mileage.
I bought it several years ago but due to divorce, I have not touched it. The car sat for a long time after I bought it and may need a refreshment. The check engine light is now on.
