Chances are if you’re looking at this, then you know all about these Monteros and how collectible they’re becoming. Its got style, sophistication, and still a ton of practicality. It’s perfect for a beach day, lake day, fishing trip, camping trip or a grocery trip. All this being said I really don’t want to sell it but this COVID thing has put me out of work and I really can’t justify keeping it anymore. Buyer arranges shipping. If buyer wishes to drive it home it will have a fresh oil change and belt ready to make the trip no problem.Exterior**does have a few dings in drivers side doorInteriorFront and rear seats were reupholstered a few years ago with heavy duty fabricHeadliner was also redone and looks great. No missing bezels in center console which is rare.Does have the legendary bouncy seat on drivers sideStereo and tape deck work amazing.EngineEngine runs strong. (3.0l v6)Fires up first time every time. Newer used transmission put in two years ago. Ac blows colder than my wife’s new Mazda!New rear differential, rear axles and bearings2nd gen montero wheels with 70% tread. **Does have a very small oil leak (maybe a drop or two after a drive around town)**occasionally pops into neutral if transmission is cold and throttle is being rapidly pressed and let off. ** does have a ding in the drivers side door which I’ve included in pics and would be happy to send more pics of.**keep in mind this vehicle is 30 years old and is sold “as is”. It’s not off of a showroom floor by any means. These are the only things I could think of that are less than desirable about this gem.
