1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse

For sale is my 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX AWD that I've owned since 1998. This car was my brothers daily driver until we decided to invest in it to make it faster. The car has never been in any wreck. The title is in hand and is clear. I also have copies of the receipts for the modifications we made at the time (2005). The 4G63T was rebuilt by Darren King at FFWDconnection of Tulsa OK. with the intention of running a large turbo. The engine was built to handle 600+ horsepower. At the time FFWDconnection.com was building racing engines; all of their engines/heads, rotating parts would undergo their signature cryogenic bath treatment for reliability and longevity. See picture that includes engine sales receipt for more details on engine build. Darren might be able to discuss any details or questions about this engine. Before I list the other components that are in this car, I will note that the car has sat idle for about 9 years. After it became a very fast car, we never put many miles on it nor ran it really hard before we hung it up and started having a family. While it sat idle though, it was started and moved from time, however I will tell you that this car starts and idles as the day it was first built and tuned. As with any car of this age, and one that's been exposed to the elements, it would be wise to inspect/replace soft parts such as belts and even the water pump simply due to time; or at least before this car/engine is driven hard for racing or spirited driving. The components, engine-install and tuning were all done by the late Wesley Hess. Wes was a well-known guy in the DSM racing circuit and was an excellent fabricator and race car builder. He had has own Eagle Talon in the 9's back in the mid-2000's. The car is being sold as is as I no longer have the time to invest in the car as everyone who owns or has owned a DSM car before knows; they are a huge time/money sink, but boy are they fast and worth it if you can afford the time and money commitments. The transmission is out of a 93 DSM. We installed it after our original transmission became to grindy. This one was also very grindy especially between shifts 1-2. Because of this limitation, we were never able to run it down the quarter mile to see what kind of numbers it could post. We had this engine running 30 psi boost on VP C-16 (117 octane). This car has not seen pump gas since 2005. It has fresh C-16 in it now. We speculated that the FP 3065 at 30psi of boost was likely producing anywhere between 475 to 550 hp tuned slightly rich on the fuel trim for safety. The car will undoubtedly need to be re-tuned for whatever altitude it ends up in. The pictures show dust/dirt that has accumulated on various parts of the car and just surface rust on some of the metal components due to weather and time. I can provide answers to questions if there are any. Trying to keep this posting to less than half a novel. Thanks for taking a look. The car is in Houston TX area (League City) currently. Buyer will have to assume costs of shipping if not locally purchased. The list of modifications and what we paid originally are;
