Fully Built Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 500 AWHP - $13995 (Chicago)

1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT

Up for sale is my fully built 3000GT VR-4 in excellent mechanical condition with lots of new and extra parts. It has all wheel drive, ll wheel steering, nd makes roughly 500 horsepower at the wheels with roughly the same torque on 93 octane pump gas. Horsepower can be increased to about 600 with an E85 tune, ut it's too fast as it is. It keeps up with lightly modded GTRs on the highway. It has the aggressive yet quiet stock exhaust, ut it is set to backfire on throttle off. I bought the car three years ago for fun, ut future plans require me to sell. I'm definitely going to regret this, o please take it before I change my mind.
This car was built by IPS Motorsports in Ohio. Only driven 20K miles since then. You can call them to verify most of the upgrades and mileage. The previous owner had all the mods done and his account name there is Leonard Waters. The car is in perfect mechanical condition. It was and is professionally maintained by AutoTecx on Touhy and Clark, n Chicago. Cosmetically, here are a couple tiny dings, aint fade, nd scratches. It could use a paint refresh, ut it turns heads where ever it goes as it is.
This is the mod list. Again, ll mods only have 20K miles, nless otherwise noted:
1. Motor is fully built by the infamous Ray Pampena with forged everything and 0.1 liter overbore to achieve 3.1 liters of displacement and ability to handle 1,000+HP.
2. Stage 3 IPS heads with titanium valves, itanium retainers, igh Rev springs, treet/race spec cam shafts, nd full port/polish.
3. Ported 19-T turbos built by the also infamous Rob Beck. Currently at 18 PSI on pump gas.
4. IPS Motorsports front mount intercooler with Greddy core and full aluminum piping.
5. Walbro 415 LPH E85 in-tank fuel pump with 680CC injectors that can safely put out 880CC if you set the adjustable fuel pressure regulator at 56 psi. Also has aluminum high flow fuel rails with new stainless steel braided fuel lines.
6. PST 1-Piece Carbon Fiber drive shaft.
7. AEM standalone ECU series one with Blow Through and a special tune that allows backfire from exhaust when you let off. This feature is awesome! Tuned by Runnel Entona.
8. Controlled vacuum boost control also by Runnel Entona.
9. IPS turbo downpipe and IPS turbo intake pipes for both turbos.
10. Black powder coated front splitter that greatly reduced drag and improved high-speed handling.
11. Tien Lowering/Stiffening springs with stock shocks. This is should be the next upgrade, s the shocks are getting old, ut they work perfectly. Also has rear strut tower bar.
12. Rust proof coating for the underbody and wheel wells.
13. 3SX Aluminum Crank Pulley in stock size.
14. RPS Aluminum Segmented flywheel with Stage 3 clutch. 10K miles on clutch. Had to change due to manufacturer defect.
15. Carbotech Slotted and Coated brake rotors with Hawk race/street pads and stainless steel brake lines.
16. Polyurethane motor mounts.
17 New Continental all season tires, alanced and installed at Tire Rack's Indiana facility.
18. 97 model year black lexan headlights to reduce 9 lbs of weight from front end.
19. NGK plug wires with platinum tip plugs.
20. Lightweight Corbeau seat in driver's seat removed to save ~90 lbs. Original driver's and passenger's seats and extra rear seat included in sale. Authentic MOMO black suede leather steering wheel.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some mods. The sale includes various interior and exterior pieces like the factory spoiler, actory seats, nd many bolts, uts, lastic clips, tc.
