This MG K3 Reproduction roadster, crafted by Tom Dark Engineering in the early 1990s, is built on the chassis of a 1936 MG Magnette. Originally imported to the United States, the car was acquired by the previous owner around 2019 as a non-running project. Since then, a replacement supercharged 1,271cc inline-six engine has been installed, along with a complete overhaul of the carburetor, fuel and cooling systems, and the four-speed pre-selector gearbox. The car features bespoke aluminum race-inspired bodywork, finished in a rich dark green, and a matching right-hand-drive interior.

Noteworthy exterior features include 18" wire-spoke wheels with two-eared knockoffs, a side-exit exhaust, a leather hood strap, and a distinctive badge bar. The fold-down windshield, paired with Brooklands-style windscreens, adds to the car’s vintage appeal. The vehicle’s suspension consists of a solid rear axle, friction shocks up front, and leaf springs on all four corners, while four-wheel drum brakes provide stopping power. The bodywork is complemented by headlight guards and a right-side mirror, with a matching spare wheel secured at the rear.

Inside, the cockpit is appointed with bucket seats upholstered in green leather, complemented by color-matched door caps and carpets. The black dashboard features a glovebox and a rearview mirror. Jaeger instrumentation includes a reverse-sweep 8k rpm tachometer and six auxiliary gauges, though the car is not equipped with a speedometer or odometer.

The heart of the roadster is the supercharged 1,271cc inline-six engine, which was rebuilt prior to being installed in August 2023. It boasts a six-into-one exhaust system and a polished valve cover. The four-speed pre-selector manual transmission was also meticulously overhauled under previous ownership. The car is offered with a Pennsylvania title, bearing an Antique Vehicle brand.
