Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this genuine early 1956 MGA Roadster built to resemble a Le Mans Team Car racecar. This attractive replica was recently purchased from an enthusiast in the San Francisco Bay Area who purchased the car from the Midwest.The body and paintwork on this car is decent and has been finished to what I call is "racecar" or "racetrack" standards. It clearly looks the part and received a modest respray over a decently average to good body, but all very good to race about in the car with.It is understood from the seller that the car's 1500cc engine and gearbox have been rebuilt and just need some final hooking up of ancillaries/fuel lines to make the car roadworthy. There's some additional items such as a wiring harness to be fitted, radiator installed, and so forth. I'm sure the car's hydraulics need attention. The car is fitted with a custom fuel cell.The car's interior could use trimming, which is a simple job. There is a single seat provided with the car. The dashboard has been painted with the rare and correct early gauges refitted.Overall, a modestly priced, exciting project that would make a very interesting car once finished.
