Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice MGA 1500 Roadster. This car was just purchased from it's older gentleman owner from Connecticut who had the car totally restored within the past 5 years. This pretty car presents very well in it's crisp and traditional English color scheme, sitting on a new set of chrome wire wheels. It's fitted with a correct 1500 engine and runs and drives well.The bodywork on this car is very good with decent panel fit. Paintwork is glossy and looks quite fresh along with a mixture of mostly new chrome and some nice original items, a new rubber kit, original windshield glass.The car's interior trim has been completely renewed in quality vinyl including seats, panel kit, correct black carpet kit, beautifully painted and correct dashboard facia with original instruments. A new black tonneau cover in the box is supplied.Mechanically, the car is believed to have been completely rebuilt. It starts easily on choke with it's upgraded Weber carburetor. The engine exhibits super oil pressure, no smoke or noises and revs well. Once warmed, the car goes very nicely down the road with normal power, crisp tight handling, smooth steering, good brakes, all while rolling along on new, quiet, quality Vredestein grippy 165x15 radial tires.The car's underside shows very well and clean with everything being attended to and showing it was a very solid car to start with.Overall, a very pretty MGA 1500 Wire Wheel Roadster with it's early simple taillight arrangement. This nice car has had much money and time spent on it's body-off restoration, and considering that it's very good value going forward.
