Attention all car enthusiasts! We have a 1962 MGA Mark II with wire wheels up for sale. This car has been a part of our family for 25 years and has been kept in a dry storage unit.
Our father had excellent taste in British sports cars and cherished this MGA. He drove it a few times every year until 2018, after which it has been kept idle for six years.
We have now taken over the car and retrieved it from storage in November 2023, and we were delighted to find it in great condition, rust-free, and a perfect example of the benefits of dry storage. It features the original engine and 4-speed manual transmission, which have been maintained well. With a little work, this beauty is now running and driving. Recent work includes a new fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel filters, master clutch cylinder, and master brake cylinder, along with a new battery. Although the odometer shows 15k miles, it could be 115k, but we're not entirely sure about this.
The car is not perfect, but it is an excellent candidate for restoration. There's no interior carpeting, and the top is a little rough, but with a bit of TLC, this car can be restored to its former glory. Please take a look at the pictures and feel free to ask anything.
