This 1954 MG TF is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.

Vehicle Details

I purchased “Mini” from the prior owner in 2018. It is powered by the stock 1,250cc XPAG inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in red with a tan soft top over beige vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ chrome wire wheels with a rear-mounted spare as well as chrome bumpers, running boards, rear-hinged doors, fender-mounted mirrors, seat belts, side curtains, a tonneau cover, and a folding windshield. This TF is now offered with spare parts, a car cover, and a clean Hawaii title. There are some chips and paint scratches but zero rust, and the side curtains are cloudy. Suspension work includes replacing the bushings, shocks, A-arms, and dust boots. The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in beige vinyl that are complemented by a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. Interior appointments include seat belts, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger grab handle, and dual dashboard storage compartments. The wood floorboards were replaced in 2018 under prior ownership before being lined with new carpets.

The Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 105-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a combination gauge for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles, approximately 700 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The clock does not work. The 1,250cc XPAG inline-four is equipped with dual SU carburetors for a factory rating of 57 horsepower. Work in 2018 and 2019 included replacing the engine mounts, wiring, and coil, while the carburetors were also rebuilt just recent and the fuel tank was cleaned. Service records are included and Mini runs excellent. A stainless steel exhaust system has been added.
