MGB Convertible NO RESERVE FOR PARTS OR REPAIR
1979 MG MGB Roadster
No Reserve. Bill of Sale and current registration only. RI does not issue titles on classic vehicles.
Car is not running. Car ran and drive when I bought it a couple years ago but it's been sitting a couple years and doesn't go into gear. I assume the gearbox is low (or out) of fluid. The doors don't close correctly. The hinges need to be repaired which seem to be a big job. It looks like someone tried to fix them before but not sure. It needs extensive body work (rust!) throughout. I believe this is more of a parts car than restoration candidate at this point. With a battery, jump and starting fluid it should start but would need extensive time and effort to be roadworthy. Maybe good for MG enthusiast who knows what they are doing but best for someone who needs a parts car for cheap. Top is in okay condition except the plastic windows have separated. Glass is good. Tires are about a year old and have virtually no miles on them (only rolled on driveway and garage). Seats have separations but reasonable and could be fixed. Lots of usable parts. ***Please note: I accidentally broke the passenger side view mirror after the pictures were taken. Only the drivers side mirror is good. Passenger side is no good.
