This is a1978 MG MGB Roadster
Mods: The molds were removed, and the holes filled.The front bumper has been replaced with a custom fiberglass unit; the rear has been replaced with a fiberglass unit that is panned to the rear body.The car comes with two tops, a robin's soft top with a zip out rear window. The other is a hard top from an earlier year with custom paint and ghost stripes.The paint is over four years old, and the color is Lexus tan metallic with a red pearl stripe were the moldings used to be.The wheels are stock MGB rostyl with custom hub caps with spinners.
Under the hood: The engine is the stock 1800 and was refreshed1775 miles ago. it has two rebuilt SU carbs. the ignition was updated with a Mallory Unilite distributor. The Lucus wiring has been replaced with an after marked unit with plastic fuses.Interior: The dash was stripped down to the frame then covered with oak laminate then overlayed with walnut burl veneer. The floors were replaced just before I purchased the car.The interior panels are covered with Faux Emu skin.A Pioneer head unit with blue tooth and hands- freephone replaced the stock unit.The car has been garaged the for the last 10 years. and has only 1765-miles from when it was completed.
This car is not a car show trailer queen, it is a driver. I have made150-mile round trip cruises with it, it does have some road chips.
