1977 MG MGB Tan

This 1977 MG MGB Roadster is powered by a numbers-matching 1,800cc inline-four mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in British Racing Green over a Tan interior.

The car was originally tilted in California where it spent a majority of its life until it was shipped to New York by the current owner in April of 2018. The car currently resides in Long Island New York. The seller has only driven the car approximately 300 miles and the car is offered with New York title in the seller's name.

The car was sold to a dismantlerprior to 2001 where the title was changed. Since then the previous owner painstakingly restored the car from 2001 to 2004. The body was repainted on a rotisserie while additional sound deadening and new upholstery has been installed. Since then it has beenrestored, with new paint, new top, new interior with $11,000 inmechanical restoration alone! Over $18,000 invested in restoration in total. Other new components include brake rotors, drums, leaf springs, and a battery cutoff switch and all new body chrome and bumpers are equipped, just to name a few. The floor pans and rocker panels are sealed with an undercoating. The car has Bluetooth compatible stereo with USB port and speakers mounted in the rear panel. The car has no rust and has never been involved in an accident.

The car comes with books and records since new, documenting the restoration, parts, service and labor!!!

Since acquiring the car, the current owner has had the car fully serviced, inspected, and lubricated. All fluids where drained and topped off. The brake calipers have been replaced, and upgrade pads have been installed. The seller has had the wheel cylinders replaced with new brake and clutch master cylinders, a new charcoal canister has been installed with all new lines, additionally; the carburetor has been fully rebuilt and the valve timing has been adjusted. The wheels are steel 14″ MG RO style wheels, with newly-replaced chromerings and chrome lug nuts. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin X Radial tires that show no sign of wear.

The car comes with a brand-new indoor/outdoor car cover, the original tire-change kit, new shiftknob, new wiper control arm, new driver side three-point seat belt, new set of drums brakes still in the box, as well as a set of new brake pads. Furthermore, the dashboard is quite straight and all instrumentation and switchgear are operational. The car is in perfect mechanical condition and runs and drives perfectly! All of the new componentry was supplied by Moss Motors.
