One of a kind Custom Retro Look with Austin Healey Inspiration-NO RESERVE

1979 MG Midget

Offering for sale, this unique 1979 MG Midget! Lots of work has been completed.

Everyone knows the 1979 (LAST YEAR) of the Midget hadthoseugly BIG rubber front and rear bumpers. Not this retro beauty. The originalbumperswere removed and rear replaced with 1964 style split bumpers and custom grill. The hood was replaced with a 1964 Austin Healy Sprite with the air scoop and retains the Sprite emblem. (Original MG hood painted to match, included with sale). The improvements gave this MG the preferred retro styling from the 1960s, but retained the later 70s more powerful 1500 Spitfire engine. Mileage can not be confirmed due to the age of the car. OD reads 2464.

This car is really nice. Runs/drives great! Upgraded Weber 2BBl carb. Tight clutch and sweet shifting. The new MG performance muffler gives this little guy a beastly sound.

Note from SELLER: I have bought, sold, restored, loved on classic cars for 20 years. This one is really nice and pretty special. I bought the car back in August for my adult daughter, she just could not learn how to drive a stick, so now someone else will get the opportunity to own this one of a kind Midget. If I were not 6'1", she would not be leaving the family.
