Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very well sorted and attractive MGA 1500 Coupe. The Coupe model only made up about 10% of MGA production overall. To find a closed car restored to such nice condition is a rarity in today's market. This lovely Coupe offered for sale here is finished in it's seldom seen and unusual Dove Grey with black interior, sitting on it's simple, clean, and unassuming disc wheel set-up. We purchased this car from it's very conscientious and detail-minded mechanic-owner in Boise, Idaho. This car runs and drives superbly and is a delight for us to have in our current inventory.The body and paint on this car is very good to excellent. Panel fit is very nice with no fit issues. Paintwork is very glossy and attractive with no issues. There are a few very small touched-up chips from usual/normal use. The car's rubber has been renewed along with most all of the chromework. A new windshield has been fitted.Inside, the car's interior has been renewed including carpets, seats, door panels, dashboard, etc. It could use finishing off with a new headliner, a fairly simple task.Underneath, the chassis frame is very well detailed/painted and has been completely rebuilt front to back. This includes rebuilt front and rear suspension, upgraded 1600-style front disc brakes, new aluminized exhaust, rebuilt fuel system, rebuilt engine and gearbox, powder-coated road wheels, new tires, new wiring harness, new handbrake cable, etc.The car's engine compartment is completely and properly detailed still retaining it's believed original 1500cc unit.The trunk compartment still retains it's original spare tire bag in lovely condition.Overall, a very impressive and properly restored "A" Coupe in superb, all-around condition. This gem of a motorcar is exceptional value when one considers buying a core MGA Coupe and bringing it up to this level.
