Sorry to say we have a couple of glitches here from VIN pictures to item title but not to worry I will correct and cut the price once it is fixed. This is what we are selling a 1969 Mercury Cyclone restoration project. This was a 428 4 speed powered performance machine which was loaded with power steering and power disc brakes. This extremely rare factory muscle car is a highly desirable collectors piece. Unfortunately this car was taken to a local body and parked for many years thus the reason for the primer job. After sitting the running gear was removed to complete a 428CJ Mach 1 so it is not available as part of our auction. Please keep in mind we do have many of the missing pieces available in one of our other auctions. This is a real R code 428 Cobra Jet big block car which would have had a big shaft 4 speed. Our auction does not include the 428 CJ motor or the C6 Auto Transmission or the N case rear. Having said that in some of our other auctions we do have many like or substitute pieces available which were not from this car although are correct but not dated for this car. When describing the car our pictures show this is a pretty good car with no major rust through although the underside at the steering box has had some work and the hood at the front is deteriorating. There are some minor rust spots where body work was performed on the door corners area also needs some attention. Please refer to the pictures Factory equipped you will find a nice set of bucket seats and even an AM/FM radio. the interior is complete although the dash pad needs help. All in all this is a complete car less the running gear and even though we have pieces we are starting to move away from restorations and toning down our whole operation after 40 + years of full time business. Please understand it is sold as is and will not be able to be returned If you have any questions we will be glad to discuss this car in detail but be assured the value will certainly be well worth it in the end as this is a well optioned car.
