Custom 1967 Mercury Cougar The engine is a 351Windsor bored +60 with Thumper Cam and AFR heads bottom end is pretty much stock, its an early engine (1969) compression ratio was at 10.7-1 before the AFR heads were added. 4 row radiator with 3 fans 1 pushing and 2 pulling, serpentine belt system, Summit spark box to Speedmaster distributer. Transmission was profesionally rebuilt added shift kit and 2300 stall converter to go with the cam.  Ford 9 inch is open 3.50 gear rebuilt last year. I have 2 other gear sets at the machine shop now a 3.00 open and a 3.91 posi. The paint (PGP) is Fords Candy Apple Red from the early 70's clear cooated with PGPs best offering. Custom airbrushing by a local artist here in VA, gold leaf on the spoilers front and rear. The interior has been re-upholstered with custom embrodery, the front seats are from a 1969 Mach 1, Instrument cluster needs upgrading. Suspension is basically stock with everything new Front and rear, heavy duty sway bars front and rear added and sliders instead of shackles in the rear. Power Disc brakes upfront from 1972 Cougar and appropriate master cylinder, manual steering. Battery mounted in the trunk with shut off switch. Trunk has been spray lined with herculiner (Black). The car draws a crowd when ever I pull in for fuel its a multiple show winner here locally.
