Description:

1985 Mercury Capri RS

1985 Mercury Capri RS with 108k miles on the odometer. 5.0L 302 V8 5 Speed Tranmission. Power windows both work as they should. Heat and AC work great, AC was converted to R134A. Equipped with a rear window defroster. This car does not see rain or snow, but the t-tops do not leak to my knowledge, as I took it through a touchless carwash once. You do not see these in this shape very often. This car will come with a bill of sale, and previous registration. Rhode Island does not issue titles to vehicles of the year 2000 or older, you can register this car anywhere with the paperwork I have.
Car has original paint and it is in good shape. This is a rust free Mecury Capri, it was a California car up until 2018. Before my ownership this car has gotten new KYB shocks, a new clutch installed, new alumnium radiator and fan clutch, new hoses, new serpentine belt, along with fresh transmission and rear differential fluid. The car will come on the Cobra wheels seen in the photos, wrapped in Nitto N555's with good tread. The car will also come with a set of factory 10 holes, with center caps and good tread tires as well. The pioneer radio is currently installed in the car, but I will include the factory radio as well with the purchase of the car. The dash/dash pad are in great shape as seen in the photos and the pad is not cracked like they are prone to do.In my possession the following has been done:- New Spark Plugs (107k miles)- New Ignition Coil (107k miles)- New Header Bolts (107k miles)- New Shorty Headers (107k miles)- New Off-Road H Pipe (107k miles)- New Flowmaster FlowFX Catback (107k miles)- New Double Hump Crossmember- Rebuilt (from Holley) - Holley 600 CFM Street Warrior Carburetor (installed this Summer)- Swapped the rear end out to a 8.8 Rear End with 373 gears (installed this Summer)- New 373 Speedo Gear installed to correct the speedometer for the rear end swap- Brake Fluid Flush (bled the brakes and replaced with all new fluid during rear end swap)- New Hatch Striker- New Fuel Filler Neck Seal- New Tail Shaft Seal- New Idler Pulley- New Valve Cover Breather- New Hood Blanket (aftermarket LMR one)- NOS Marchal Fog Lights / NOS Marchal Fog Light Covers (installed)- RS Bulge Hood Scoop (installed)The rear cargo shade does not retract back, and one of the clips is broken as seen in the photos. Has both t-top bags included in the hatch. Spare tire is included. The driver side door pocket needs to be re-stitched. I did find the factory build sheet for this Capri, I have that to come with the car.The car runs, drives and shifts good. Turn key ready to go for the next owner. I have 58 total photos of the vehicle, and a walkaround video. I am limited on how many pictures I can upload here.
