1968 Mercury Montego RARE Classic 2 Door Coupe!

This is a rare car you hardly ever see especially rolling down the road! It is a 1968 Mercury Montego. We purchased this vehicle from the estate of a Ford-Mercury collector. I have personally never seen one even at the classic car auctions. Maybe you have seen more, I just have not in my many years. They didn't make a whole bunch and I guess many did not survive. The car has a 302 V8 engine with automatic transmission. We just installed a brand NEW gas tank and NEW fuel sending unit. It has a NEW battery and 4 new tires. It starts really easy and runs good. It has been sitting for many years so the brakes need some work and it surely could use a tune up or other services. The body of the car is really straight but it has had previous body work. The paint is on there and looks decent but it does have some cracking. The interior is original and worn in the front drivers seat. Overall it is a good looking car. And if you want to enjoy it as it presents then it will be cool and fun. But if you want to restore one you have to have one to restore it! Arkansas title.
