1992 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

Very solid no rust California 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. Runs and drives great. Driven regularly from Palm Springs to Apple Valley, CA. Air conditioning and cruise control work but only the drivers window works-the other 3 need the plastic gears replaced because of the heat though the motors are OK. 2019 battery. Tires are about 60-70% no rot. No engine or other warning lights. Transmission shift lever is a little sloppy so you have to be careful putting it into gear but it works fine and stays where it is put. Paint is sun faded. Very minor body crease on the right front fender well. Headlight lenses good. Radio works but power antenna doesn't. The ignition key tumbler works OK but should be replaced as the tumbler is coming loose. This and the shift lever looseness lead me to believe someone tried to steal the car. Interior needs a good cleaning but is in nice shape other than the headliner which is coming loose and is torn. There is one crack in the middle of the dash from the sun. Windshield is good. The mileage is approximate as the odometer hasn't worked for about 2 years during which the car apparently didn't drive much. The wear on the pedals and normal wear items seems to match the mileage. Good carfax. With a paint job, interior cleaning, dash cover, tightening up the shift lever and a headliner this would make a very nice looking and driving car.
