Super Rare 1969 Mercury Cyclone Ram Air 428 Cobra Jet 1 of 14 built in this trim combination.All numbers matching 3 owner car. Bought new at Jim Glaze Mercury in Redlands California on August 5, 1969. Still has its original license plates and license plate frame with dealers name on it. Previous owner bought in 1977. Engine and transmission have been out of the car since the late 80's, both have been rebuilt with lots of reciepts to prove it. The rear end has also been rebuilt and upgraded to 3:89 gears. This Cyclone was in Redlands California until 1995 then was brought to Las Vegas where it remained disassemble and stored enclosed. The mileage is original at 99894. The body is amazing, very solid with no evidence of previous damage, rust or filler. This body is incredible. Never been taken apart, all gaps are nice and everything opens and closes without any issues. The engine short block is assembled, motor was bored 30 over. The cylinder heads are the original as is the intake manifold and exhaust manifolds. The correct Holley carb is on the intake however it is date coded for November of 1968 and the car was built September 20, 1968. This is truly an amazing car and opportunity to own. The interior is in decent shape for its age with a tear in the drivers seat and worn armrests. I have one of the cars original wheels. The car is missing the driveshaft and right side rocker molding.
