1964 Mercury Monterey Chrome

Mercury Monterey Marauder. I'm selling this car for my friends dad. It has been sitting in a garage since the early 80's. I believe the car is mostly all original and is a very solid car. I put new tires and rebuilt the carb, it does start and run and go into gear. I bypassed the fuel tank to make sure nothing contaminated the engine. Interior is in great shape no rips or tears, as i stated the car has been sitting for nearly 40 years and does need some work, items that i know it needs are
1. Windshield2. Water Pump, bearing bad and leaks3. Needs complete brake work, has NO brakes4. Clean the Fuel tank5. Paint looks good in pictures but needs little bodywork and paint job or could be a good driver the way it is6. Front sway bar is broke
I'm not an expert on these types of cars but i know this is a very solid car structurally and would take very little to get this car on the road. All the Chrome trimming is there and in great shape and all the interior is in good shape. This car has original miles of 87,327.
The car will have to be trailer-ed and the Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up. This car is sold as is with no warranty.
I always try to be as honest as I can but i would recommended to come look at the car to make I'm not missing nothing.
