1953 Mercury Monterey Montery

50th annaversey edition. Out of a PA estate, car bought new left to son, son started restoratio, parked in garage and left there till son passed last year. Heres what I know. Has 35803 original miles, last year of the Flathead, 15% cars manufactured this year had Powerbrakes, 5% had Powersteering. Also has the the Mercomatic Trans. The engine running off a remote gas can starts and runs excellent with no noise or smoke, Car is running in the pics. trans moves back and forward. Has no Brakes. Interior looks as though has original seat covers. lights and electrical not sure on, lights weree taken off for resto. all floors are solid with no rust through as is the trunk and undercarrige. Gas tank is out so I could take underneath pic. Trunk full of parts not sure whats there and whats not Has bags marked with bolts and screws along with door handles,seals, etc.. looks like stainless in back seat marked for where it came from on car. Left rear quarter was cut out as seen in pics. bottom on doors all look good, right fender is not fully bolted on, he must have had it off only a couple bolts holding it on. Tires hold good air pressure. Buyer gets what is seen in auction, does not come with bumpers, trunk is full and goes with car. Looking to sell as whole if not will part out though it would be a shame. So contact with parts requests and will list parts after car auction ends.
