1954 Mercury Monterey Monterey Resto-Mod
Classic '54 Mercury Monterey Resto-Mod. 256ci V8 with optional Mer-O-Matic automatic transmission. This is a solid rust free vehicle with timeless style! Exterior shows nicely in Tuxedo black with red accent. Paint is in overall very nice condition with minor blemishes. Has all Sun Valley model trim and green tinted plexiglass roof which is in good condition with light crazing. Interior has been reupholstered to match the exterior, overall good condition. Car is clean under hood and underneath with no evidence of accident or rust repair. This Monterey retains most of it's original drivetrain with some modern upgrades to make it a very nice driver without taking away from its unique 50's style. Upgrades include aluminum polished Torq-Thrust wheels with radial tires (original wheels with bias ply tires included), Vintage Air air conditioning, front disc brakes(original brakes and spindles included), upgraded Ford carburetor and distributor, and 12v electrical system with alternator. This coupe also features original power steering and brakes. Rides smooth, goes down the road nicely, 256 V8 sounds great through dual exhaust, air blows cold. This is an extremely unique car you can drive and enjoy.
