1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 380 SEC

1983 Mercedes-Benz 380 SEC that I'm selling for my father. This is a very well builtclassic automobile that has great heritage by many autoenthusiasts! This is a solid rust free west coast car that has never seen snow or salt. Could easily be a very nice driver with very little TLC.
California car with no rattles (very solid) that shows 269,000 miles
Drivesabsolutelybeautiful and many enthusiasts believe that this model will go up in value in years to come.
Interior is in excellent condition with no tears or rips or cracks. Sunroof works smooth as it should. Power windows work as they should.
My father drove this car for two yrs occasionally and enjoyed it but due to health issues it sat for 6 months or so and now developed the very light smoke that was not there before parked. If itidles for 10 mins or so it will smoke much more with a coolant like smell thats mostly whitish in color. But it does not overheat! It could be just something simple but want to be clear that it drives currently but will need some type of diagnosis as to the extent of the repair that is unclear to us. We just want it gone now as more serious matters have come about.
I believe almost everything else on the car works as it should and to the best of my knowledge. As stated in descriptive title, riveshaft has developed some sort of very light tapping noise only at take off up toapproximately 30mph and over 30mph the car is as smooth as glass which my father believes is the crossmember needing adjustment or alignment that would be very easy for a mechanic or someone who has the time.
Remember thatthis is a 33 yr old car that is very solid but has its flaws as I have stated. Forserious parties interested I can send a short video to get a better idea of your purchase.
