1977 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Hi There,
I have a 1977 280 SL Euro Import. I have owned it for about 11 years. The badge of the 450 and bumpers are deceiving. It was imported into California in 2010. I bought it when it was not running from a family whose father had owned it. He had passed away and they had no interest in the car.
I have installed new pads and rotors did a tune up and change the plugs and wires. The slave cylinder was changed by me also. I had to buy the hard top removal tools. I have pics of the hard top off and with the soft top showing
She runs decent but every now and then you hear this squealing noise upon acceleration that comes on for a a few seconds and then disappears.
Problem areas in the car:
The original color is Cayenne Orange of this car but the previous owner painted it with the hard top on it so you see with the hard top removed you see some of the Orange paint on it.
The front passenger floor pan, when you open the hood there by the battery on the firewall there is a rust spot which then leaks water into the front passenger floor pan. The hole is about 1 inch wide. There is a photo of it and the floor pan.
The trunk does leak as water gets in as the rubber has deteriorated over the last 47 years.
The hardtop has rust by the seal area, where the rubber gasket goes. The heater fan does not turn on. Nor does the radio. I have not seen the fuse box as I focused on getting the car mechanically functioning.
I have 2 videos of a cold start and a short drive in the neighborhood. Email me in eBay email and I would be more than happy to send it to you.
I have added all the pictures as much as I can. The chassis is not bad on it.
A $500 Deposit on Paypal will be needed from the buyer.
Spring is here and it is a fun car to put the top down and go for a cruise.
Good Luck
