Are you a classic car enthusiast looking for the perfect blend of elegance and modern performance? Look no further!

This unique and well-maintained Mercedes 200D Fintailis road legal with a clean California title and current registration. It ispowered by a more powerful OM 616 engine from a 1982 Mercedes 240D that starts right up on the coldest days and runs exceptionally well. It features a rebuilt transmission that shifts smoothly in all gears and a new suspension, new brakes and good steering that's tight and tracks well.

It was originally a west-coast car with the past 12 years spent in California. As such, the underside of the vehicle is virtually rust free as are the door jams, door bottoms, trunk, wheel wells and footwells making it among the finest examples of a rust-free W110 in existence.

The cabin houses low-back front bucket seatstrimmed in red vinyl upholsterywith three-point seatbelts.Additional appointments includea contoured rear bench seat with functioning center arm rest, hand-crank windows and a functioning Kienzle analog clock. The Blaupunkt push-button AM radio housed in the dash is disconnected in favor of a contemporaryAM/FM cassette stereo mounted beneath the driver's seat.

Steel 14" wheels wear original Mercedes hub caps with body-color centers and 205/75 Hankook Optimo white-wall tires. A full-size spare and Mercedes jack are housed in the trunk. The car rides on Bilstein shocks up front and air shocks in the rear. The front shocks, tie rod ends, center link and steering stabilizer were replaced 11,000 miles ago. The brake system was refreshed approximately 5,000 miles ago, which included replacing the master cylinder, all hoses, front calipers and pads, rear wheel cylinders and rear shoes. The clutch disc and hydraulic cylinders were replaced 8,000 miles ago.The car has been fitted with "pencil-style" parallel glow plugs for fast and reliable starts and is plumbed for an auxiliary fuel tank.
