I have been commissioned to sell out an estate in Decatur, Texas. The estate is under probate, and we will be unable to transfer title until the middle of November. That said, the executrix has asked that I try to find a buyer as soon as possible. We need to have a buyer lined up so that we can pull the trigger, once the lawyer gives us the green light.
It is a one-owner vehicle and has 110,000 miles, always garaged. The body looks strait, the chrome great, the paint without any noticeable flaws. Interior looks fine. The estate wants to sell this car as it is sitting. Since the tires are flat and I am unable to pull it out of the garage, I am unable to shoot any side pictures.
The owner had a stroke and did not drive the car for nine years. It was last inspected in 2018, perhaps because the owner kept thinking each year he would get better and be able to drive it. Alas, that never happened, and he passed away in September of this year at age 79.
The tires are flat and will need to be replaced. We have no idea what the car will require to become up and running again, but it was running fine when parked in 2018 in the garage for the last time, having been inspected and licensed. We are looking for a realistic offer. I can show the car to you in Decatur right now. I don't know at this moment where the title is, but suspect it is in his safe deposit box. The title will be clear.
Note: The auction shows the car to be in Lubbock, Texas. That's where I live, and again - this car is in Decatur, 300 miles from my home - Decatur is northwest of Dallas/Fort Worth.
