1983 Mercedes 380sl. For saleTime capsule. I purchased last year from the original owner. It was garaged kept for 40 years and is in amazing condition. The leather seats were always covered and are beautiful and very soft without any tears. The hardtop spent all 40 years off the car and is in beautiful shape. When I purchased the car it had only 58,000 miles. During my ownership I have added only a couple thousand miles. The current mileage is just over 61,000.Since purchasing the car I have:Had the fuel system completley cleaned professionally.Had the intake manifold gasket and vacuum seals replaced.All new injectorsPlugs, wires, cap and rotor.Center and rear exhaust.New Fuel pump, filter and accumulator.Replaced the soft visors with high end German replacements.New Ronal r-9 wheels with Michelin tires.Installed a Kenwood aftermarket head unit with hands free phone and bluetooth (I will include the perfectly working Becker radio that came with the car.The a/c is ice cold and the heat works perfectly.The car idles so smoothly at lights it is hard to tell that it is running.I rarely drive this car and feel that it is time to pass it along.It truly is a pleasure to drive.There is a repair to the soft top (pictured). Original top in excellent condition otherwise.
